Forrest served in the U. S. Navy, retiring, October 2, 1945. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and the steel guitar and singing country music. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting on his ranches. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and a sister. Survivors: Wife: Sibyl Oliver, Alvin, Texas; Daughter: Darlene Oliver Moore & husband Scott, Austin, TX; Step-Son: Charles Findley Kaough, Richmond, TX; Sister: Marguerite Hunter, Tampa, FL; Grandsons: Forrest Scott Moore & Colin Carter Moore, both of Austin, TX. Honorary Pallbearers: Scott Moore, Forrest Moore, Colin Moore, Jesse J. Carter, Donald H. Carter & Marvin Appelt. Visitation was held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2003 at Oak Park Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at Oak Park Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
