Greene, deceased, formerly of Jones County, Ga. She was in her 20th year. She left a husband and one child . - Nancy Porter Bowin was born on 19 March 1830.
- She married James Lawrence.
- Nancy Porter Bowin died circa 5 February 1850 in Grimes County, Texas, of complications of childbirth, according to the 1850 census mortality schedule.
- Her husband James Lawrence became a widower at her death.
- She was interred at the Barnes family cemetery, Grimes County, Texas. She was a daughter of Carrie Greene Barnes' sister Martha Greene Bowin.
