  • He married Eula Hall circa 1924.
  • The following appeared on 20 December 1937 in the El Paso Herald-Post: Mrs. Haydn Abercrombie Lewis died today at a local hospital. She was 73 and had lived in El Paso 13 years.
         Mrs. Lewis is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hannnon Cook; another daughter, Mrs. George W. Morrel and a son Leonard Lewis.
         Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at St. Clement's Church, Rev. DuBose Murphy officiating. Arrangements have not been fully completed. The body is at Peak-Hagedon Mortuary.
         Surviving Mrs. Lewis also are three sisters: Mrs. Mary Finch, of Pasadena; Mrs. Gentry Waldo of Houston; and Mrs. Robert Lovett, whose husband is chairman of the board of the Union Pacific railroad.

  • He was interred at Evergreen Alameda Cemetery, El Paso, Texas.
