That sparked his interest and love of the game of golf. Until his death he supported fund raising for fledging golfers.          Jim served The Salvation Army of Montgomery County as a member of The Council and through his financial contributions for many years. Jim was one of Conroe's most successful businessmen building Conroe Golf Cars into one of EZ Go Golf Cart's outlet into the largest and most successful in the nation. Just recently Jim purchased the Club Car Dealership to compliment his golf car business. Alan Clayton, Pastor of The Ark Family Church, tells with enthusiasm how Jim publicly and privately helped the church grow through his financial assistance and his personal testimony. All who knew him will miss Jim.
