  • The following appeared on 11 April 1907 in The Montgomery Advertiser: The remains of the late Charles J. Graff, the 25-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Graff of this city, who died in Hendersonville, N. C., after a long illness, were laid to rest yesterday. Mr. Graff left Montgomery for Hendersonville about a week ago, thinking to benefit his health by the changte of climate, but the change was Unavailing.
         The remains were shipped to Montgomery, and arrived here yesterday morning at 2:40 o'clock. The body was then taken to Robinson Springs, where interment was made in the family burying ground. Rev. W. M. Cox officiated at the services.
         The pall bearers were C. J. Fay, J. B. Beasley, R. M. Vandiver, John Vincentelli, Buford Martin, James O'Hara, J. P. Cornwell and Walter Brassell.
         Mr. Graff leaves a father and mother, two brothers, George C. Graff and Curby [sic] Graff, and two sisters, Mrs. Holt Hudson and Miss Lucile Graff.

Graff, Lucille Graff, John L. Capell, Holt Harrison Hudson, Mamie Lillian Hudson, Margaret L. Hudson and Kirby Smith Graff.
  • The following appeared on 28 June 1910 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Graff, and Mrs. Holt Hudson, and little daughter, Margaret Hudson, will leave today for Philadelphia, New York, Niagara Falls and Canada. Returning through the New England states, they will take the steamer at Boston and return home by water about August 1.
  • The following appeared on 20 August 1916 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Mrs. Holt Hudson and children, Mrs. Lowery Capell, and children, and Mrs. Lillie Graff, have gone to Millbrook to spend the remainder of the summer.
  • Holt Harrison Hudson registered for the draft on 5 June 1917 in Montgomery County, Alabama, while living with his wife and three children at 940 Adams Street in Montgomery, and employed as a flagman by Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Company. He reported having served for four years as a 2nd sergeant in the Alabama Infantry.

  • The following appeared on 10 February 1922 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Mrs. Mary Lillian Graff died Thursday evening at 6:30 at her residence, 940 Adams street after an extended illness. She was 64 years old and had been a resident of Montgomery for 27 years, coming here from her former home in Wetumpka.
         Surviving are two sons: G. C. Graff, Jr., of Montgomery and K. S. Graff of Philadelphia. Two daughters, Mrs. Holt H. Hudson and Mrs. J. L. Chapell of Montgomery. Four sisters: Mrs. T. R. Sharpe and Mrs. Joseph Wright, Montgomery; Mrs. Fred Patterson and Mrs. Emera Parker of Birmingham besides a number of grandchildren.
         Funeral services will be announced later pending arrival of relatives.
