- Rudolph Kocher and Nancy Skinner appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1870 in Pleasant Township, Perry County, Ohio, at New Lexington PO living near Rudolph's sons John and Christopher, and also Morgan Bozman.. Other members of the household included Catharine Mack, Catharine Unknown and Joseph S. Kocher. Also in the household ws Samuel Shaffer, age 14, possibly a grandson.
