    [:TAB] Alfred was born July 29, 1946, in Lubbock to Alfred and Esther Perry. He attended Texas Tech and TCU. He was an avid golfer and loved his Saturday morning breakfast at Texas Star, and he was a big fan of the TCU Horned Frogs. He was a Baptist.
    [:TAB] The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff in intensive care at St. Paul's Hospital, Dallas, and especially Dr. S. Henry, his surgeon.
    [:TAB] Survivors: Parents, Al and Esther Perry; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Valorie Perry of Red Oak; nieces, Melissa and Magen Perry, both of Dallas; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
