- The following appeared on 7 July 1911 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Miss Kathleen Adams, of Birmingham, the attractive guest of Miss Florence Blue, furnished the inspiration for a most delightful party on Thursday evening, when Miss Blue entert6ained at a candy pulling in her honor.
The guests were entertained in the lovely back yard of the home, which presented a picturesque scene for the occasion. The trees and shrubbery were strung with hundreds of Japanese lanterns in rich and varied colors. Here and there were arranged rosy corners.
In an artistically decorated tent Mrs. J. G. Andrew and Miss Mary Elizabeth Thweatt told the fortunes of the guests. An old fashioned candy pulling furnished much amusement, the girls wearing pink and blue aprons. During the evening punch was also served.
About one hundred young people were guests of the evening. - She married Randolph Benjamin Moore, son of Thomas Henry Moore and Ella Butler, on 14 June 1912 in Autauga County, Alabama, and Randolph's brother Thomas married Florence's sister Kate.
- The following appeared on 15 June 1912 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Randolph Moore, returning to his business in Waycross, Ga., Friday evening, after a visit to his relatives in Montgomery, took with him a bride. He and Miss Florence Blue of Montgomery were married in Prattville Friday afternoon, to the utter surprise of the families of both.
Mr. Moore and Miss Blue had been in love for some time, it was known, but there was no intimation of the marriage. Friday afternoon they went to Prattville on an automobile ride with friends and it is presumed that the call of the heart and the imminence of Mr. Moore's return to Waycross acted together as persuasive factors toward the immediate culmination of the courtship in marriage. There was no objection to the match on the part of the parents of either of the young people. When the newly married couple telegraphed from Prattville, only surprise was expressed by the relatives in Montgomery, and some disappointment that the two had not decided on a wedding at home.
Randolph Moore is the son of Captain T. H. Moore, of 505 Washington Street. He has been in Waycross, Ga., for some time, engaged in the ice business. He came to Montgomery two weeks ago for a vacation.
Miss Florence Blue is the sister of Dr. J. H. Blue, of Cloverdale. Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Moore did not stop in Montgomery upon their return from their Gretna Green, but went on to Waycross. - Randolph Benjamin Moore registered for the draft on 5 June 1917 in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, while living with his wife and two children in Oklahoma City, employed there as a bookkeeper by Steffen Ice Cream Company, 101 East Main Street. His military experience included attending Marion Military Institute.

- The following appeared on 7 October 1923 in The Montgomery Advertiser: Mrs. Mary Blue has returned home from a two months visit to Oklahoma and Ohio. In Oklahoma she was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. R. V. Moore, while in Cleveland, Ohio, she visited another daughter, Mrs. Sid Adams. Mrs. Blue said she had the grandest time and that she particularly enjoyed a ride of 1200 miles that she made on the Pan American in 31 hours. Mrs. Blue always derives so much pleasure from her trips and talks so interestingly about them that her friends are doubly glad when she comes back home.
