  • The following appeared on 22 April 1930 in The Dallas Morning News: (Waco, April 21) Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church here Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Minna Vott [sic] Williamson, 84, who died early Sunday morning at the home of her grandson, W. A. Williamson of Beaumont.
         She had been in failing health for two years and critically ill for the last month. Born in Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Williamson was educated at Baylor College, Independence, where she was married on July 13, 1866, to the late Dr. W. A. Williamson. The latter, who died in Waco in 1903, was a son of Judge R. M. Williamson (three-legged Willie) noted early day Texas jurist, whose body was recently removed from the cemetery at Wharton and placed in the State Cemetery at Austin.
         Surviving Mrs. Williamson are three sons, Rufus N. Williamson of Waco, Robert M. Williamson of Dallas and James D. Williamson of St. Louis. She is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters and two great great grandsons.
