• Mother: Frankey b. circa 1818

• Bob was born circa 1856 in Texas.
• Following emancipation, Bob adopted the name Bob Wood.
• Edmond and Frankey appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1870 in Montgomery County, Texas, living next door to Hansel and Mary Baltrip.. Other members of the household included Bob, Gip, E. B. Edward and Sarah.
• He was a farm laborer, according to the 1870 census.
