Suckey

- Suckey was born say 1853 in Montgomery County, Texas, at Greenwood plantation near old Danville.
- Suckey (value 200, no age), is found in Green Wood's 20 January 1854 "corrected" tax list, but not in earlier or subsequent tax lists or other records, nor is her birth or death recorded amongst the others in Book 15. It is possible that she may have been a member of Willis and Sally Wood's houshold, or possibly William "Bose" Campbell's. In the event that Green may have recorded some other information about her, it is unfortunate that the two plantation daily account books spanning Spring 1853 through Spring 1855 did not survive to the present day.
