  • The following appeared on 25 October 1896 in the Columbus Enquirer-Sun: Mrs. Flewellen and Mrs. Ransom have returned from Oswichee, where they attended a reception given at Bonacre to Mr. and Mrs. Jamees McCoy Chambers, who were recently married in Macon. Mrs. Flewellen gave th Kodak the following account which is written by Mrs. Frank L. Nisbet of Oswichee: . . . . /P/ Mr. James McCoy Chambers and Miss Florence Bloom Nisbet were married on Wednesday afternoon, October the fourteenth, in Mulberry Street church, Macon, G., by Rev. Alonzo Monk. They came the same afternoon to Columbus, enjoyed the genial hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Howard, going thence to the home of the bride's uncle, Mr. William L. Nisbet, where they were joined by other relatives and friends, vying with each other in warmth of welcome. /P/ The crowing event was the reception given at Bonacre, the home of the groom's parents, Jr. and Mrs. J. H. Chambers, on the night of the 16th inst. /P/ . . . . Many roads radiate from the Oswicheee "hub," along them came Mr. and Mrs. Richard Howard, Mrs. Abercrombies, Miss Florida Abercrombie, Mr. Alf Wellborn, Mrs. Flewellen and Mrs. Kat eRansom, from Columbus; Mrs. William L. Chambers and little daughter, from Washington City. From Montgomery the dear grandmother of the groom and little Virginia and Mrs. Mary Gordon Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chambers, Mrs. William H. Alexander, of Atlanta, and Miss Bessie Woolfolk, of Macon.
  • The following appeared on 2 November 1899 in The Macon Telegraph: The splendid farm known as "Bloomfield," near Macon; best place in Middle Georgia for stock raising; to a good tenant terms will be made very low. Apply at once to Frank A. Nisbet, agent for Florence B. Chambers, Macon, Ga.
  • The following appeared on 26 November 1911 in The Macon Daily Telegraph (Real Estate Transfers): Robert A. Nisbet to Florence Nisbet Chambers, one square acre from northeast corner of land lot 100, $5, love and affection.
  • The following appeared on 18 June 1915 in The Macon Daily Telegraph: Florence N. Chambers to Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance company, whole land lots 68, 69, 84, 85, 107, 108 and 109, each containing 201-1/2 acres, more or less; also the east half of land lot 83, containing 101 1-4 acres, more or less, all lying in one body of 1,721 1-4 acres, known as the Bloomfield farm. Consideration, $10,000.
