  • Julia R. Finn was born in October 1879 in New York.
  • The following appeared on 31 August 1905 in The Warrensburgh News: Miss Anna Sweeney, of Glens Falls, who was formerly employed in Warrensburgh, in the office of J. P. Baumann & Sons, and who about two years ago entered St. Joseph's convent in Troy as a novice, took her final vows on the 15th inst. and has been sent to Arizona to teach among the Indians. Miss Julia Finn, who entered the convent at the same time, was obliged to leave about a year ago on account of poor health.
  • The following appeared on 27 May 1920 in The Warrensburgh News: Mrs. Cornelius Finn, aged seventy-eight years, died Friday morning at her home, 13 Birch avenue, Glens Falls. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Holmes and Mrs. James Cooney; her sons, Rev. John J. Finn and Attorney Daniel J. Finn, and three daughters, Julia, Ella and Anna. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Monday morning at 11 o'clock, a solemn requiem high mass being celebrated by the Rev. John J. Finn, son of the deceased, assisted by the Rev. Francis King, of Stuyvesant Falls, as deacon; Rev. Thomas Deignan, of Rotterdam Junction, sub-deacon, and the Rev. Daniel R. Burns as master of ceremonies. There were nearly three hundred people in attendance, including thirty-three visiting clergy in the sanctuary. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

  • The following appeared on 11 January 1923 in The Warrensburgh News: Miss Julia R. Finn, daughter of Cornelius Finn and the late Ellen Leary Finn, of Glens Falls, died last Thursday night after a long illness. She was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and some years ago was employed for several years in the office of J. P. Baumann & Sons, in this place, and had many friends here. Besides her father she is survived by two brothers, Attorney Daniel J. Finn, of Glens Falls, and the Rev. John J. Finn, of Stillwater, and two sisters, Misses Ella T. and Anna A. Finn, of Glens Falls. The funeral was held at St. Mary's church Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock. There was a large number of priests in the sanctuary. A solemn requiem high mass was celebrated by the Rev. John J. Finn.
