         Miss Laurier is a granddaughter of Mrs. Maurice E. Preisch of New York and of the late Mr. Preisch of New York and Buffalo. She was graduated from the Parsons College here and is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta fraternity.
         Mr. Shriver was graduated from Columbia University in 1933. He is with the Bank of the Manhattan Company in New York. Mr. Shriver's father is a secretary of the Board of National Missions of the Presbyterian Church in the United State of America.
  • She married Robert Campbell Shriver, son of William Payne Shriver and Unknown (?), on 5 September 1936 in Manhattan, New York, in the chapel of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church.
  • The following appeared on 6 September 1936 in The New York Times: Miss Dallas Wing Laurier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Laurier of Fairfield, Iowa, formerly of this city, was married to Robert Campbell Shriver, son of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. William Payne Shriver of Ridgewood, N. J., yesterday afternoon in the chapel of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. The bridegroom's father perfomred the ceremony.
         The bride, who was escorted by her father was attended by Miss Rhoda Logan Preisch of Buffalo. Oscar T. Connor of Ridgewood was best man.
         The ceremony was followed by a reception at the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Maurice E. Preisch of 137 Riverside Drive.
         The couple have gone on a motor trip through New England and later will pass two weeks at Schroon Lake, N. Y. On their return they will live at 70 Morningside Drive.
