The following appeared on 12 August 1882 in the Daily Gazette: A special meeting of International Lodge, A. O. U. W., will be held at their hall, this evening at 8 o'clock to make arrangements for attendign the funeral of Jacob Wagner, of Suspension Bridge, which will take place from his late residence next Sunday afternoon at two o'clock.
The following appeared on 15 August 1882 in the Daily Gazette: The funeral of Jacob Wagner, of Suspension Bridge, last Sunday afternoon, was largely attended. The A. O. U. W. Lodge of the Bridge and the Falls turned out in full numbers, and the German Society of the Bridge was also well represented. The services were held in the German Lutheran Church, Rev. Mr. Dietrick being the officiating clergyman, and were attended by a large concourse of people.
