He was a native of Buffalo, had resided here 32 years and was employed as a pressman by the American Sales Book plant. He was a member of the Niagara River Lodge, No. 785 F. and A.M.
         Surviving Mr. Hummel are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Irene Hummel; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Weaver and Mrs. Donald Wagner, of this city, and Mrs. Charles Holley, of Waverly, N.Y; his mother, Mrs. George Rushton, of this city, and three grandchildren.
         Funeral services were being completed this afternoon.
