  • The following appeared on 13 September 1883 in The Western New-Yorker: The People of the State of New York - To Elizabeth Broadbrooks, Elizabeth Krauss, Ellen Weimer, Julia Fisher, Jacob Broadbrooks, Jr., Martin Broadbrooks, Caroline Glor, Henry Broadbrooks and John Broadbrooks, the widow, heirs at law and next of kin to Jacob Broadbrooks, late of the town of Attica, in the county of Wyoming, deceased: Whereas, Elizabeth Broadbrooks, executor named in the last will and testament of the said Jacob Broadbrooks, deceased, has applied to our Surrogate's Court of said county of Wyoming, to have the will of the said Jacob Broadbrooks, deceased, which relates to both real and personal estate, proved and admitted to probate: you, and each of you, are therefore hereby cited to appear before the said Surrogate, at his office in the village of Warsaw, in said county of Wyoming, on the 29th day of October, A. D. 1883, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon of that day, to attend the proff and probate of said will. In testimony whereof, we have caused the seal of the Surrogate's Court of said county of Wyomintg to be hereunto affixed.
