He was born March 14, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Edward R. and Lola (Jessie) Sears.
         He graduated from Wauwatosa High School, Wauwatosa, Wis., and was a veteran, having served in the Navy Reserves (Submarines) and four years inthe U.S. Airforce. He retired in 1996 from Miller-Coors Brewery in Milwaukee, Wis. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Fairfield Bay, Ark. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family and friends.
         He was preceded in death parents; brother in law, R. Robert (Bob) Deller; sister-in-law, Patty Deller; and nephew, Aaron Deller. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 56 years, Pauline (Deller) Sears, whom he married on October 26, 1957 in Harrisville, Michigan; daughter, Darcy Malnory and son-in-law, Scott Malnory of South Carolina; two granddaughters, Brittani and Eirynn Sadowski of South Carolina; three step-granddaughters, Rita, Kaylin, and Krista and three step-great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law, Kenneth Deller (Sandy) of Albuquerque, N.M; Richard Deller (Chris) of Osseo, Michigan; Arthur Deller (Kathi) of Fairfield Bay, Ark; and Peter Deller of Shelby Township, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Gloria Fry (Jim) of Farmington, N.M; and loving nieces, nephews, and many friends.
         A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Fairfield Bay, Ark., at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock, Arkansas, or to the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
