Emma Bub

  • The following appeared on 2 December 1926 in the Sheboygan Press: (Elkhart Lake) Mrs. Conrad Bub, aged 62, died at her home here Wednesday night after suffering a stroke of apoplexy. She had been suffering for four years as a result of s stroke which paralyzed her entire left side. Mrs. Bub was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Diefenthaler in the town of Rhine on December 13, 1864, and was married to Conrad Bub on December 18, 1884. Mr. and Mrs. Bub made their home on a farm in the town of Rhine from the date of their marriage until twelve years ago, when they came to Elkhart Lake.
         Besides her husband, deceased is survived by five children, Miss Emma Bub at home, Walter on the homestead in the town of Rhine, Mrs. Edna Quade of West Bend, Mrs. Lydia Strosta of Wauwatosa, and Mrs. Maurice Bub of Milwaukee, and two sisters, Mrs. Helena Streibel and Mrs. Minna Meene, both of Kiel. Six grandchildren also survive.
