  • The following appeared on 16 September 2000 in The Banner: Glen Benjamin of Bonita Springs passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2000. /P/ His memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Benjamin Church of Bonita Springs at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17 in the sanctuary. /P/ He was born in Gilboa, N.Y. on May 2, 1917, the son of Mary and Robert Benjamin. He worked for IBM in Endicott, N.Y. with 34 years in management. /P/ He and his wife Betty were married for 63 years. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs for over 20 years. /P/ He is survived by his wife, Betty of Bonita Springs; a brother, Robert Benjamin of South New Berlin, N.Y; three sons, Dr. Glenn Benjamin of Calistoga, Calif., Dr. Keith Benjamin of Noxen, Pa., and Dr. Scott Benjamin of Hancock, N.Y; and four grandchildren, Beth, Shawn, Amy and Erica. /P/ The family asks that any memorial gifts honoring him be given to the Wonder Years Preschool Scholarship Fund, First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs, P.O.
