Daughter of the late Corynne Hughes Shipston and Thomas D. Shipston. Age 55, a native of Amherst, NY and a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 21 years. Shannon received her Masters Degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. After graduation, she moved to Houma, LA where she began her role as a Social Service Worker. She was employed by West Jefferson Medical Center, Chalmette Medical Center, and Doctors Hospital. Interment will be in St. Roch II Cemetery, New Orleans, LA at a later date. Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
