  • The following appeared on 28 August 1954 in the Buffalo Courier-Express: Clarence D. Rogers, 81, of 105 Baynes St., who worked as a pharmacist at the E. J. Liebetrut Drug Co., 73 Genesee St. for the last 10 years, died yesterday at his home. He had been ill six weeks.
         Born in Sterling, Ont., he came to Buffalo in 1896, and entered the University of Buffalo School of Pharmacy.
    [:TAB: After his graduation he operated a drug store at 913 Clinton St. for six years, and then for 22 years operated a pharmacy at Baynes and Auburn. He sold the business in 1943.
         Mr. Rogers was a member of the Church of the Annunciation and of its Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Erie County Pharmaceutical Association.
         Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Gertrude V. C. Leuze, and a brother, Ernest A. Rogers.
         Prayers will be said at 8:30 Monday morning at the Warren B. Austin Funeral Home, 565 Elmwood Ave., and a Solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:15 at the Church of the Annunciation.

Funeral from the Austin Funeral Home, Inc., 563 Elmwood Ave., Wednesday at 9:30 and from Nativity Church at 10. Friends invited.
