Among the out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. James Hollenbeck and daughter Hazel, of Lockport; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Behe, of Gasport; Mrs. Herman Gaertner and Miss Edna Williams, of Petersburg, Mich; Mrs. John Cleghorn and son Robert, of Cuba; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weber and daughter, of Buffalo.

Most of this time he has been connected with said church in an official capacity. At the time of his death he was a member of the board of trustees, and as such had an active part in the construction of the new St. James M. E. church, in which work he was very much interested. His practical knowledge of constrution work, made his services of great value to the building committee. He was formerly connected with the Zion Lutheran church of this city.
Mr. Stahle's business career began with the Wentworth and Taylor Contracting company of this city, with whom he was connected in the capacity of foreman for nine years. During this time the Gluck building, Union Carbide company's buildings and many others were erected. Mr. Stahle's splendid work and his ability to manage men during the construction of the Union Carbide company's buildings, had not escaped the notice of the manager of that company, and upon the completion of the buildings they made him a very flattering offer which, after due and deliberation, he accepted, and for the last fifteen years of his life, he served as master mechanic for the above named company. By his skill and faithfulness he had come to be one of the best loved and most respected men connected with the plant, not only by the ccompany, but by the men as well. In the language of a member of the firm: "Every man in the factory will be broken-hearted when they hear of his death."
The funeral services will be held from his late home on Cleveland avenue, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. I. H. Crocker, pastor of St. James M. E. church, will officiate.
