- The following appeared on 27 September 1937 in The Evening News: Two other persons were injured over the week-end accidents. They were Eleanor McKinley, 21 years old and Kenneth McKinley, 19 years old, both of 130 Highland avenue. They were riding in Main street shortly before midnight when they crashed into a parked car as they turned out to avoid a passing machine.
In his report McKinley, driver, said that he sustained cuts on the chin. Miss McKinley sustained bruises and strains of the back.
The parked car was the property of Leonard Hallman, 71 Shoreham Building, Buffalo. - Eleanor P. Benton became a widow at the 10 September 1987 death of her husband Kenneth G. McKinley.
- Eleanor P. Benton died in August 1990 at age 74.
