  • The following appeared on 19 April 1909 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Mrs. Mary Sipple, 73 years old of No. 2211 Lockport street was found dead in her bed at 7:30 yesterday morning by a son, George P. Sipple. Coroner Scott was called and he pronounced that death was caused by heart trouble of which the woman had been suffering for some time. When Mr. Sipple came in at 1 o'clock in the morning, his mother was alive.
         Mrs. Sipple had been a resident of this city for many years. She is survived by three sons and four daughters. The funeral will be held from the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and from the Zion Lutheran Church at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in the Oakwood cemetery.
