Daniel Robert Hansen

  • Daniel Robert Hansen was born on 25 April 1935 in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
  • The following appeared on 28 June 1938 in the Lead Daily Call: Mrs. Ray Hanson [sic] and little son of Oshkosh, Wis., arrived in Lead yesterday by train, coming to spend a few weeks with Mrs. Hanson's mother, Mrs. Anna Davis [sic]. Mrs. Hanson is well known in Lead as Marion Davies.
  • Raymond Victor Hansen and Marion Violet Davies appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1940 in Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin, at 618 Bowen Street. Other members of the household included Daniel Robert Hansen.
  • The following appeared on 31 October 1951 in the Lead Daily Call: Ray V. Hansen, 53, the husband of the former Marion Davies of Lead, died October 16 at his home at 618 Bowen street, Oshkosh, Wis., according to word received here today.
         Hansen was a police officer in Oshkosh for 18 years before ill health forced his retirement in 1946.
         He was born in Oshkosh April 21, 1898, and lived there all his life except for military service in World War I.
         He and Miss Davies were married in Oshkosh April 29, 1925. She was the daughter of Mrs. Anna Davies, matron of the Hearst Kindergarten here for 30 years.
         Surviving are his widow, a son Daniel, a brother William Hansen, and half-trother Herman Hoxtell, all of Oshkosh, and four nieces and a nephew.
         Hansen was buried October 18 in Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh.
  • Daniel Robert Hansen died on 24 February 1996 at age 60 in Los Angeles County, California.
  • He was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Orange County, California.
