- Wienhard Held was born circa 1797 in Germany.
- Wienhard Held arrived in the Port of Baltimore on 7 November 1837, aboard the Brig Neptune from Bremen (master H. Hincken), destined for Louisville. Also on the same page of the passenger manifest were Maria (age 40), Phillip (15), Conrad (10), Jonas (45), Catharina (39) and Heinrich (15).
