- The following appeared on 5 April 2001 in The Sun: A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday (April 3) from SS. Peter & Paul Church for Olive Baker Igoe, 89, of Hamburg, who died Friday, March 30, 2001.
Wife of the late Gerard Igoe, she is survived by her sons, James, Joseph, Kevin, Francis and Dennis Igoe; daughter Mary Ellen Godios; brother, John Baker; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Igoe was employed as a fourth grade teacher at SS. Peter & Paul School for 20 years. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross at Our Lady of Victory Hospital and was also a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church for 45 years.
Burial was a Hillcrest Cemetery and arrangements were made through the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home.
