Survivors: Wife of five years, Manus Dugan Ritter; sons, Dr. Joseph Ritter of Greensboro, N.C., Dr. Richard Ritter of San Antonio, David Ritter of Pittsburgh; daughter, Judith Reddy of Durham, N.C; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward Ritter and Norbert Ritter, both of Pittsburgh; and sister, Catherine Schumacher of Pittsburgh.
