She was baptized/christened on 15 May 1864 in Gressow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
Her name was recorded as Marie Elisabeth Christiane Dorothea in her christening record.
Friederike Elisabeth Christiane Möller arrived in the Port of New York on 6 November 1874, accompanied by Mary Pautlitz, Sophia Pautlitz, John Pautlitz and Henry Pautlitz aboard the SS Suevia, from Hamburg, travelling between-decks.
She married Hildebrand Dieckmann on 26 October 1881 in East Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan.
Hildebrand Dieckmann and Mary Pautlitz appeared in the US federal census of 15 April 1910 in Buena Vista, Saginaw County, Michigan, enumerated next to son Henry and his young family. Other members of the household included Friederike Elisabeth Christiane Möller. Mary's mother is identified as Mary Powletts (age 78).
She was helping in the family grocery store, according to the 1910 census.
Mary Pautlitz became a widow at the 25 January 1914 death of her husband Hildebrand Dieckmann.
Mary Pautlitz died on 21 January 1935 at age 70 in Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan.
She was interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan.
