Mr. Dresing and his wife, the former Emma Hammer, were married on April 8, 1896, in Buffalo, where both were born. They have two daughter,s Miss Charlotte M. Dresing and Mrs. Howard Lommer.
         Mr. and Mrs. Dresing attend Grace Lutheran Church, Rose and Carlton. He worked as a machinist for the Buffalo Pitts Co. and Howard Iron Works, and was an attendant at the Erie County home at Alden until his retirement. In 1906, he was a member of the State Assembly and in 1917 was on the Erie County Board of Supervision.
