  • The following appeared on 18 April 1966 in the Sandusky Register: Thomas C. Millar, 81, a resident of 201 Taylor St., died unexpectedly Saturday evening in Good Samaritan Hospital.
         Millar was a former general building contractor, being a partner in the firm of Zeiher and Millar, which constructed the Jackson Junior High School, State Theater and other buildings. For 21 years he was supervisor of building maintenance for the Sandusky Public Schools, retiring in 1961.
         He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, a 32nd degree Mason, being a member of Perseverance Lodge 329, F&AM; Sandusky City Chapter 72, RAM; past master of Sandusky City Council, 26 R&SM; Erie Commandery 23, Knights Templar; Scottish Rite, Valley of Toledo and Zenobia Shrine, Toledo. He was also a past president of the Sandusky Masonic Temple Association.
         Surviving are his widow, Wilma Pudham; a son, Kenneth T., Sandusky; a grandson, four grandchildren; two nephews, a niece and several other relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma, in 1933, two sisters and two brothers.
  • The following appeared on 20 April 1966 in the Sandusky Register: Thomas C. Millar. Services for Thomas C. Millar were held this morning in Quick's Funeral Home, the Rev. Francis Odden officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
         Pallbearers were Wallace Glenwright, Elmer Fischer, George Wassner, Lee Asher, William Duff and Harold Langwell.
