Sporer, 71, of 818 Ashland Ave., who died Saturday (July 8, 1967) at Fort Erie, Ont., after suffering a heart attack.
         The memorial service will be held at the Rhoney Funeral Home.
         Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Rhoney Funeral Home and at 9:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
         Mr. Sporer, a Niagara Falls native and a veteran of World War I with the U.S. Marine Corps, was an accountant at the Acheson Graphite plant of Union Carbide Corp. here. He retired six years ago after 40 years of service.
         An active sportsman in his youth, he played on area baseball, basketball, and football teams.
         He was a member of the John J. Welch Post 381 of the American Legion, and Elks Lodge No. 346, the Retired Men's Club, and the Holy Name Society of Sacred Heart Church.
         He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen E. Sporer.
         He is also survived by two brothers, Clarence Sporer, this city, Brother David (Lawrence) O.F.M., New York City; three sisters, Mrs. John (Magdalene) Focaziio, Mrs. Norman (Agnes) Kumm, both of this city, and Mrs. Fred (Rose) Masser, of Lewiston. Another sister, Ann Ellis, of this city, predeceased him.
         Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
