  • The following appeared on 12 July 1920 in the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal: Two deaths were reported yesterday by Dr. W. E. Deuel, superintendent of the county tuberculosis sanatorium. Gottlieb Fink, age 46, of Niagara Falls, and Lucy Thomas, 12 years old, colored, a former resident of Wyndham Lawn Home for for friendless children, were the victims. Both Died Saturday. Fink's body was taken to the Falls. The funeral of the Thomas girl was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the Wyndham Lawn plot in Glenwood cemetery.
