  • The following appeared on 2 October 1908 in the Buffalo Courier: Otto H. Borth, 22 [sic] years old, a New York Central fireman, who was injured at Crittenden on Tuesday, died at the Emergency Hospital yesterday. Broth, who lives in Syracuse, was struck by a switch engine as he alighted from his engine at Crittenden. He was a fireman on a regular freight run between Buffalo and Syracuse. His engine stopped at Crittenden, and Borth was about to board it when the switch engine came up the other track and struck him. He was hurled for seventy feet. Although hurried to the Emergency Hospital in this city, the surgeons were unable to save him, as he had sustained internal injuries.

Funeral will take place from the family residence, No. 52 Gatchell Street, Sunday, October 4, 1908, at 2 p. m., and from St. Trinitatis Church (Gold Street) at 2:30 o'clock. Deceased was a member of Admiration Lodge No. 101, B. of L. F. and E. Friends are invited to attend.

The funeral will take place from the family residence, No. 70 Reiman street, Tuesday, April 2, at 2 p. m., and from Trinity Ev. church in Gold street, at 2:30 o'clock. Friends are invited to attend. Deceased was a member of the Women's society of Trinity church.

Funeral from the residence of I. D. O'Dell, Millgrove, N. Y., Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment at Forest Lawn, Buffalo.
