The deceased was a lifelong resident of this city and the remains will be brought here for burial. Funeral will take place from the residence of his granddaughter, Mrs. C. F. Baker, 169 West avenue, this city, Wednesday, March 15, at 2 p. m. Interment at Cold Springs.
         Friends are invited to attend.
  • The following appeared on 15 March 1905 in The Lockport Journal: The funeral services of Phillip Murphy was held this afternoon at No. 169 West avenue at 2 o'clock.
         Rev. York of Niagara Falls officiated. Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Wendle sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Abide With Me."
         The bearers were Messrs. F. R. Oliver, C. F. Baker, C. E. Oliver, William Christian, P. C. Oliver and Allen Retallack.
         Burial Cold Springs cemetery.
